13/12/2018 - 2019 Stocking Program.

Information Notice!!!

2019 Stocking

£2500 has been allocated to Aireys pond this will contain a mix of crucian carp, tench, bream and silvers.

£2500 has also been allocated to Rileys. But first before any more stock goes into Rileys there will be a survey and water quality check done first.

This means in January we will be draining the pond. Giving us chance to check the stock level the silt issue/treatment, maintenance i.e. bank repair, lily control etc.

Once this has taken place we will have an idea if some small/big fish need taking out and what if anything needs to be stocked.

Further stocking for the big lake will take place at a later date. We have a feed programme for next year and we are going to see how this develops all fish species in the lake.

Road repairs leading upto Rileys will also be on going during 2019.

Signs will be been made for all otter gates, please remember to keep them closed at all times!

More information regards to dates times and stock will be posted.

Thank you Brighouse Angling Association committee.

New Section of canal

This section has recently been cleared by a club member in his own time and offers canal fishing with no passing traffic of cyclists or walkers. It can be accessed at the far corner of Rileys Pond nearest the ski lake. This has space for approximately 20 anglers

Open Day and Rig Clinic

An open day for all and a BBQ for a bite to eat with a raffle as well. All money raised from the BBQ and raffle will go towards the otter fence. We had rig clinics on display from carp rig, pole rig, method feeder rig with demos on the day, fish care and safety were also be covered.
